Reinhard Grandl

Executive Vice President at Bitmovin

Reinhard Grandl's work experience begins in 2005 at Breitenfeld Edelstahl AG, where they worked as an Electrical Engineer. In 2007, they briefly held a role as an IT Administrator at Vogel & Noot Technologie GmbH. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Researcher at Universität Klagenfurt. In 2013, they co-founded PhatBug and served as a Co-Founder until 2017. In the same year, they also worked as a Visiting Researcher at FutureWei Technologies for a few months. Reinhard joined Bitmovin in 2013 and has held various positions there. Reinhard started as a Project Manager & Software Engineer before becoming a Principal Solutions Architect from 2016 to 2018. From 2018 to 2022, they served as the Director of Product Management, responsible for shaping the vision and roadmap for video products. Currently, Reinhard is the Vice President of Product Management at Bitmovin, leading a team of product managers and designers and overseeing SaaS and enterprise product portfolios.

Reinhard Grandl has a diverse education history. Reinhard obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in General Management from Technische Universität Wien, studying from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Information Technology from Universität Klagenfurt, completing it between 2011 and 2013. Reinhard'sbachelor's degree, a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Informationstechnik, was also earned at Universität Klagenfurt, where they studied from 2008 to 2011.

Additionally, Reinhard Grandl holds an ingenieur degree in Informations- und Kommunikationstechnik from HTBL Kapfenberg, which they obtained from 2002 to 2007.

Reinhard has also acquired several certifications. Reinhard became a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) through Scrum Alliance in June 2019. Reinhard obtained a certification in General Management from Harrison Metal in December 2017. Furthermore, Reinhard has completed additional certifications, including Command of the Message and MEDDICC Qualification Process, both through Force Management.
