Pranav Jain has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Pranav started their career as an Associate Software Engineer at Providius Corp, where they developed a real-time big data visualization dashboard using Python, Angular, and D3. Pranav then joined Autodesk as a Software Developer for the Research Team, where they contributed to building an employee engagement app using IoT and contextualized data. Pranav then had an internship at Ultimate Software, where they worked on the Full-stack for their flagship product and implemented the W4-tax integration feature. Pranav also helped migrate Angular 1 to Angular 6 and optimized the API, caching, and error handling. Following their internship, they joined Reap as a Software Developer, where they were responsible for backend system design and architecture, specifically focusing on the "Scheduling Payments" feature. Pranav scaled the business logic for cross border payments and introduced data warehousing and ETL processes. Pranav then worked as a Backend Engineering Intern for SeatGeek, where they developed features and performed A/B tests to improve the growth and retention of the user base. Pranav also worked on improving artist-genre classification accuracy by integrating Spotify API data into a Python microservice. Afterwards, they joined Gem as a Software Engineering Intern, where they gained experience in software engineering. Currently, Pranav is working as a Software Engineer at BitGo.

Pranav Jain pursued their education from 2016 to 2021 at the University of Waterloo. During this time, they completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Engineering.
