Shawn Flannery has extensive experience in the technology and engineering sectors, co-founding and serving as President and CEO of WaveFlex, Inc. since October 2016. In addition to this role, Shawn is the President and Owner of bitFusion, Inc., a company specializing in hardware and software product development, where expertise includes IoT and wireless design. Previous positions include Senior Software Engineer at Nematron, Inc. and Senior Member of Technical Staff at Mettler Toledo, where Shawn contributed significantly to the development of industrial controllers and motion control interfaces. Early career experience includes roles as an Electrical Engineer at Multipress Inc. and as an Electronic Technician at Scientific Columbus. Shawn holds a BSEET in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science from Franklin University and an ASEET in Electronic Engineering from Columbus State Community College.
