Samantha Hawkins, SHRM-SCP, has a long history of experience in the Human Resources field. Samantha began their career in 2007 as the Deputy Director of Human Resources at the MS Secretary of State's Office. Samantha then moved on to Belhaven University in 2010, where they served as an Adjunct Instructor. In 2011, they were hired as the Director of Human Resources at the MS Department of Agriculture and Commerce. In 2018, they were hired as the Senior Human Resources Manager at Butler Snow LLP. In 2022, they were hired as the Director of People Operations at Bitfocus, where they create technology that advances solutions to social challenges.

Samantha Hawkins, SHRM-SCP, attended Belhaven University from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Theirtory. Samantha then returned to Belhaven University from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA).
