Angie Evans has a wealth of work experience in the public policy and social service sectors. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Project Administrator at Bitfocus, a technology company that creates solutions to social challenges. From 2019 to 2021, they served as a Strategic Consultant. From 2017 to 2019, they held the role of Interim Organizing Director at the Housing Leadership Council of San Mateo County. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Campaign Architect (Volunteer) at the Mountain View Tenants Coalition, and from 2015 to 2017, they were a Civic Engagement Manager at BUILD. From 2011 to 2015, they were the Director of Outreach and Field Activity at the Coalition on Human Needs. From 2010 to 2011, they were the Director of Leadership Initiatives at Jewish Funds for Justice, and from 2008 to 2010, they were in the Policy and Organizing role at the Center for Community Change. Finally, from 2007 to 2008, they were a HUD Counselor/Practicum Student at Urban Strategies, Inc.
Angie Evans graduated with a Master of Social Work, M.S.W. from Washington University in St. Louis in 2009, with a field of study in Social and Economic Development Policy. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science; B.S.S.W. from Saint Louis University in 2007, with a field of study in Social Work. Angie attended The Evergreen State College from 2003 to 2005, with a field of study in Transcendent exploration.
