Josef Tětek has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Josef is currently a Board Member at Vexl Foundation, where they started in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Contributor for Bitcoin Magazine starting in 2021. In the same year, they joined Trezor as a Bitcoin Analyst, focusing on educating others about bitcoin security and privacy. Josef also hosted the Stackuj.cz Podcast, a Bitcoin-only podcast, starting in 2021. In 2017, they were a Board Member at Liberálnà institut. Josef has also authored a book and worked as a Cryptoanalyst at TopMonks from 2018 to 2021. In 2018, Josef was a Strategic Analyst for the Bitcoin startup team at DEBNK. Before that, they served as a Business Controller CR&SR at HERO CZECH s.r.o. from 2015 to 2018. Lastly, Josef was the Vice-president of Ludwig von Mises Institut Česko & Slovensko from 2010 to 2016, where they managed various activities such as e-shop, blogging, publishing, and summer school organization.
Josef Tětek completed their education in a chronological manner. Josef first attended Charles University from 2005 to 2009 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in History, Philosophy, and Economics. Following that, they enrolled in the University of Economics, Prague from 2009 to 2011 where they earned an Ing. degree in Economic Policy, Law & Economics. In October 2016, Josef obtained a certification in "Mastering Data Analysis in Excel" from Coursera Course Certificates.
