Tabea Nimz has a diverse range of work experience in various research and internship roles. Tabea has recently worked as a Laboratory Research Assistant at bit.bio since April 2021. Prior to that, they served as an Advanced Research Assistant at the Wellcome Sanger Institute from February 2020 to April 2021. Tabea also worked as a Master-Student at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center from October 2016 to September 2019. Tabea completed a Master Thesis Project at the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) Heidelberg from January 2019 to July 2019, focusing on the functional consequences of metabolism-related candidate knockdown in patient-derived colorectal cancer spheroids. Additionally, Tabea worked as a Graduate Student Intern at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in October to December 2017. Tabea also gained experience as an Intern at the Universidade Federal de Viçosa in October to November 2015, and as a Management Assistant at Staatsoper Hannover from September 2011 to September 2012.
Tabea Nimz pursued their education in the field of Biosciences with a focus on Cancer Biology. Tabea completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from Heidelberg University, specializing in Molecular Biosciences, from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biology at The University of Göttingen, from 2012 to 2016. Tabea also obtained a certification in FELASA B from the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center in November 2018.
