Andre Schaffner is an experienced professional in the field of retail technology and digital transformation. As the Business Unit Manager for Retail Technology at Bison since May 2019, Andre oversees operations in Germany and Switzerland, focusing on electronic shelf labels, digital signage, and hardware solutions. Prior to this, Andre served as COO and Senior Consultant at WebGate Consulting AG from July 2001 to April 2019, where responsibilities included business development and leading the Digitalisation & IoT division. Andre also held board positions at WebGate Managed Services AG and IDESO AG, contributing to strategic decisions and business growth. Earlier in the career, Andre gained consulting experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Educationally, Andre has completed several CAS programs at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, specializing in requirements engineering, business process engineering, and financial management.
