Mary Jo Savageau is an experienced professional with a diverse background in web design, communications, and education. As the owner of Wide Open Skies Creative Services since July 2003, Mary Jo specializes in web design and maintenance, writing, editing, graphic design, and marketing consulting. In addition, Mary Jo has been a substitute teacher for Bismarck Public Schools since February 2014, working with students from grades K-12. Previous roles include serving as an adjunct faculty member at Bismarck State College, where Mary Jo taught English and developed curriculum, and as a communications specialist and editor at Basin Electric Power Cooperative, focusing on internal communications and web design. Early career experience includes a communications specialist position at Medcenter One, emphasizing writing, public relations, and branding. Mary Jo holds a degree in English, Creative Writing, and French from the University of Idaho, complemented by studies at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
