Hanno Riismaa has a long history of working in various roles across various companies. Hanno began their career in 2007 as a Member of the Supervisory Board at Klick Eesti. In 2009, they joined the Estonian Venture Capital Association as a Member of the Management Board. In 2011, they became a Co-Founder of Bole Live Edge Technologies/Boleform & Bolefloor, KIUTO, and NOW! Innovations. Hanno also became a Senior Partner at Litcapital. In 2012, they were appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Cosumelt and a Member of the Supervisory Board at Estanc. In 2019, they became a Co-Founder of Bisly - Building Intelligence Solutions and a MSc Student at TalTech - Tallinn University of Technology.

Hanno Riismaa began their education in 1979 at Tallinna 7. Keskkool, where they attended until 1990. Hanno then moved on to TalTech - Tallinn University of Technology, where they earned their Master of Business Administration - MBA in Economics in 1994. After this, they attended the Joint Vienna Institute in 1996 and 2001, studying Strategic Management and Business Management Practices respectively. In 2005, they attended INSEAD, studying Economics. Hanno then returned to TalTech - Tallinn University of Technology in 2019, where they earned their Master of Science - MS in 2020. In February 2020, they obtained the Elements of AI certification from the University of Helsinki (Helsingi ?likool) and Reaktor. Hanno is currently enrolled at TalTech - Tallinn University of Technology, studying Proactive Technologies, Cyber-Physical Systems, Advanced Automation, and Distributed Computing.
