The Wayne Pitluck & Judith Pyle Curator For Cultural Resilience at Bishop Museum

Marques Hanalei Marzan has served at Bishop Museum since September 2002 in various roles, including The Wayne Pitluck & Judith Pyle Curator for Cultural Resilience, Acting Ethnology Collection Manager, Cultural Advisor, Cultural Resource Specialist, and Cultural Collections Technician. In addition to this extensive experience, Marques has been the owner of Keahopāwalu, a sole proprietorship, since October 2006. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Fiber Arts from the University of Hawaii at Manoa (1997-2002) and a Museum Studies Certificate from The George Washington University (2004-2006).
