Michael Shugrue is an experienced professional with a diverse background in the film and entertainment industry. Since April 2018, Michael has served as the Owner of Birns & Sawyer, Inc., specializing in sales, rentals, system integration, and manufacturing across locations including Manilla, Vancouver, and Los Angeles. Prior to this role, Michael was the Western North America Cinema Rentals Representative for Full Throttle Films Inc. from September 2012 to December 2017, and held multiple positions at MAVTV Motorsports Network, including Manager of Technical Operations and MAV TV Sports Director. Michael's extensive experience also includes serving as President of CameraOne Technologies until its acquisition by VER in October 2012, Vice President of Panavision Canada, President of Plus 8 Digital until its purchase by Panavision in October 2006, and Playback Supervisor at Warner Bros. Entertainment. Michael began a career at ESPN as a Camera Operator and Wireless Systems Engineer, notable for contributions to the X-Games and earning two Emmy Awards in 1998 and 1999.
