Emil Brodersen is a seasoned professional in sustainability and energy management, currently serving as Group Sustainability & Energy Manager at BIRN since September 2022, responsible for strategic implementation of sustainability initiatives and overseeing related policies. Prior experience includes roles such as Energy Specialist and Lead Energy Engineer at BIRN, Civil Engineer at Scanenergi A/S, and External Consultant at Aalborg Forsyning. Emil has held various positions in energy management and technical support at Vald. Birn A/S and has a diverse background in sales, marketing, and web design. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Planning and Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Urban, Energy, and Environmental Planning from Aalborg University, complemented by technical training in biotechnology and mathematics.
