Lane Estes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in higher education administration, currently serving as Vice President for Administration/COO and Interim Vice President for Finance/CFO at Birmingham-Southern College since July 1998. Previous roles at the college include Chief of Staff and Vice President for Community Initiatives, Vice President for Administration and Government Relations, Vice President for Administration, Executive Assistant to the President, and Assistant to the President. Prior to Birmingham-Southern College, Lane Estes held the position of Marketing Director at Host Communications from 1993 to 1998. Lane Estes earned a BS and MS in business and sports administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, between 1984 and 1991.
