Jerry Oates has over 30 years of experience in the sales and engineering field. Jerry began their career at Hantover, Inc. as a Sales Engineer from 1986 to 1995. Jerry then joined Kentmaster Manufacturing as a Sales Engineer for a year. In 2006, Jerry became the Director of Engineering at Birko Corporation, a role they held until 2010. Jerry then took on various roles at Birko Corporation, including Director of Engineering, Controls and Chemical systems, and Director of Equipment Sales. Jerry has been with Birko Corporation since 2006.

Jerry Oates attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1977 to 1978, where they pursued studies in Engineering. However, they did not obtain a degree during their time at the university.
