Sissela Engquist is a legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and commercial law. Currently serving as Senior IP and Commercial Counsel at MessageBird since July 2020, Sissela has previously held positions at Min Doktor as Legal Counsel and GDPR Compliance Counsel, and at Invent Horizon Intellectual Property as a Lawyer. Early career experiences include serving as Affärsjurist extraordinaire at a law firm and as a Trainee Associate at Advokatbyrån Gulliksson. Sissela began the legal career as an Intellectual Property Lawyer at Tessenderlo Group and was previously the President of Student Communications at Karnov Group. Sissela holds a Master in Business Creation and Entrepreneurship specializing in Intellectual Capital Management from the University of Gothenburg, alongside a Juristexamen from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the same institution.
