Damien Ragsdale is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in science instruction across multiple grade levels. Currently serving as a Middle & Upper School Science Teacher at The Birch Wathen Lenox School since August 2018, Damien previously taught 6th and 7th grade science at the same institution. Prior roles include teaching 6th grade science and leading 7th grade science at The School at Columbia University, along with experience in mathematics intervention and curriculum development at Citizen Schools. Damien's diverse background also features roles in test preparation tutoring at Kaplan, account supervision in digital communications, and public relations at agencies such as Weber Shandwick and Burson-Marsteller. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and a Master’s Degree in Teacher Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
