Natacha Altamirano is a highly skilled professional in data science with extensive experience in research and teaching. Currently serving as Director of Data Science at Birch Hill Equity Partners since January 2019, Natacha previously held the role of Fellow at Insight Data Science, where a predictive tool for crowdfunding campaigns was developed. Natacha's research as a PhD candidate at Perimeter Institute included significant work on the Sunyaev-Zeldovich effect and gravitational decoherence. Natacha also gained teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo, mentoring numerous MSc and undergraduate students, and as an Internal Professor at Universidad Nacional de C贸rdoba. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MS in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Waterloo and a Licentiate degree in Physics from Universidad Nacional de C贸rdoba.
