Mathieu Souquet is an experienced professional in the environmental sector, currently serving as the Directeur Outre-Mer and Directeur Général of Biotope Madagascar since August 2004. Previous roles include Directeur Régional Océan Indien and Chef d'Agence Océan Indien at the same company. Prior to joining Biotope, Mathieu Souquet worked as Responsable Environnement at SIEE 66 from September 2001 to July 2004. Educational qualifications include a DEA in Géomorphologie et Aménagement Littoral from I.U.E.M Brest, a DESS in Expertise des Problématiques Environnementales, a D.U in Biogéographie, Ecologie fondamentale et Environnement de l'Homme, and a Maîtrise in Géographie, all from Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III.
