Illia Panin has over 13 years of work experience in software development, with a focus on frontend and data visualisation. Illia started their career in 2007 as CTO at RIA Shamans, where they were responsible for software consulting, team coordination and architectural solutions for various frontends and backends. In 2011, they became a consultant and lead frontend developer at Studiopass.com, where they worked on the mobile client of the application, provided architectural solutions for frontend, and managed the frontend development team. In 2012, they became a consultant, lead frontend developer and system architect at Trintech inc., where they managed the main database/frontend architecture and areas of responsibility for frontend team members. In 2013, they were a consultant, iOS developer and system architect for a document management system startup, managing areas of responsibility for team members and the main database/frontend architecture. From 2014 to 2015, they were a self-employed software engineer, working on a project using the MEAN stack. In 2016, they joined Collibra as a software engineer and feature lead. From 2017 to 2018, they were a lead developer at Sofitto, and from 2018 to 2020 they were a frontend architect and developer at SIMMST. Illia is currently a frontend and data visualisation developer at BioStrand.

Illia Panin obtained a Master of Computer Science degree from the National Aerospace University -'Kharkiv Aviation Institute'\u200b in 2005, where they studied IT and Mathematics. In 2020, they also obtained a certification in The Economics of Agro-Food Value Chains from Coursera.
