Nejc Ilenic has a diverse work experience. Nejc started their career as a Software Developer at IT klinika d.o.o., where they worked on a Django project for online booking of beauty and wellness services. Nejc then worked as a Software Developer at 4th Office during an internship, where they worked on a C# backend project. Nejc's next role was as a Student Member at the Bioinformatics Laboratory at the University of Ljubljana, where they designed and implemented a system for simplifying the embedding process of digital images. At GlobalWebIndex, Nejc worked as a Machine Learning Engineer, leading the design and implementation of key components for the Pollpass surveying platform. Nejc then joined Graphcore as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to projects enabling distributed training of deep learning models and worked on the PyTorch interface for the company's artificial intelligence chip. Currently, Nejc is working as a Senior Software Engineer at BioSort AS.

Nejc Ilenic obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Computer and Information Science, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Nejc then pursued their Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution, graduating in 2017.
