Uroš Kuzmanović, PhD, is the CEO and Founder of BioSens8, established in June 2020, focusing on engineering novel wearables to promote health ownership. Kuzmanović has extensive experience in biomedical engineering, having served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Boston University College of Engineering from 2015 to 2022, where involvement in the Precision Diagnostic Center included the development of novel biosensors for diverse applications. Educational achievements include a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University and a BS in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Notable recognitions include winning the Terrier Tank Competition and participation in various research and leadership roles, such as leading the NSF NE I-Corps Spark Program team and serving as Vice President of the UIUC iGEM team.
