Brian Brandley has a diverse work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry spanning over two decades. Brian most recently served as the Laboratory Director at a Biopharmaceutical Research Company starting in June 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Laboratory Officer at Steep Hill, Inc from November 2017 to 2018. In 2017, they were the Director of Lab Operations at Labdoor from March to November. From 2013 to 2017, Brian worked at PPD as the Director of R&D. Brian also served as the Site Director at Lancaster Labs from December 2011 to September 2013. Before that, they were the CSO at BioNimbus Inc from December 2008 to September 2011. Brian held the role of Director of Analytical Development at PR Pharmaceuticals from May 2007 to December 2008. From 2004 to 2006, they were the VP Research and Development at Biothera Inc. In 2003, they worked as the Manager of Specialty Products Testing at Eurofins Scientific USA. Brian started their career in the biopharmaceutical industry as a Vice President at BioMarin Pharmaceuticals from 1998 to 2002.

Brian Brandley earned their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology from the University of Miami. Brian then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biology from the same institution. After completing their master's degree, Brian attended the University of Sydney, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biology. Following their PhD, they engaged in postdoctoral studies in Cell Biology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Brian later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Strategic Leadership from Dominican University of California.
