Viktoriya Babenko, PhD, is a Research Specialist at BIOPAC Systems, Inc. since February 2023, previously serving as a Psychophysiology Fellow at UC Santa Barbara from July 2014 to January 2023. Babenko expanded psychophysiology research methods across UCSB labs, developed comprehensive manuals for implementation, and collaborated with various prestigious institutions including MIT and the Army Research Lab. As a PhD candidate, Babenko utilized advanced neuroscience techniques to explore mind-body interactions, managing large research teams and generating substantial scholarly output. Teaching experience includes multiple roles as a Teaching Associate for various psychology courses. Babenko holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Cognitive Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology from UC Santa Barbara.
