Maria Elchafik is an experienced Quality Control Scientist currently working at BioNTech IMFS since December 2021, following a position as an Analyst at Eurofins from May to November 2021. Previous experience includes an internship at DRK Krankenhaus Alzey, where Maria created QM documents and assisted with ISO certification processes. Maria's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Physical Biology of Cells and Cells Interactions from Goethe University Frankfurt and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Saint Joseph University of Beirut. Specialization in life science management was achieved through advanced vocational training, focusing on GMP, project management, and quality management. Extensive research and laboratory experience includes handling 3D cell cultures, performing internal audits, and conducting various assays related to cellular biology.
