Alicia Bertolotti, PhD, currently serves as Market Development Manager at Bionano since December 2021, leading cross-functional initiatives to enhance market share and revenue. Alicia previously worked as a Scientific Project Manager at the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety from February 2020 to December 2021. Academic experience includes serving as a Research PhD Candidate at the University of Aberdeen from September 2015 to October 2019, and research internships at Xelect Ltd. Alicia's earlier roles involved positions such as Research Assistant at Universidad San Francisco de Quito, Visiting Scientist at the Smithsonian Institution, and Research Scientist at the Charles Darwin Foundation for the Galapagos Islands. Alicia holds a PhD in Bioinformatics/Zoology from the University of Aberdeen and a BSc in Zoology from The University of Manchester.
