Diana Hooker Romero, PhD, currently serves as Senior Manager R&D at ²ú¾±´Ç²Ñé°ù¾±±ð³Ü³æ since October 2022, following a role as Senior Scientist at Specific Diagnostics. Previously, Diana held a position as Postdoctoral Associate at Florida International University, focusing on the interactions between human parasites and mosquito midgut proteins for malaria vaccine development. Diana earned a PhD in Microbiology with a focus on Bacterial Pathogenesis from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where research involved the type III secretion system and iron metabolism in Yersinia pseudotuberculosis. Prior experiences include work as an undergraduate research assistant at San Jose State University and the University of California, San Francisco, along with initial employment as a sales representative at AT&T Mobility.
