Irmantas Rokaitis has worked in the field of biochemistry since 2016. Irmantas began their career as a Research and Development Scientist for iGEM "Vilnius-Lithuania" where they developed an innovative method for high-throughput biomolecule characterization called Catalytic Activity Sequencing (CAT-Seq). Irmantas also modified the ColE1 replicon to create a synthetic origin of replication called SynORI. In 2018, they began working at Vilnius University, Institute of Biochemistry as a Researcher. Irmantas also took on the role of Head of Production at Biomatter Designs.
Irmantas Rokaitis obtained a Master's degree in Biochemistry from Vilnius University in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the same institution.
