Shailaja (Shail) Kumar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software quality assurance and user experience. Since July 2010, Shail has served as the Assistant Vice-President of Software Quality Assurance at LPL Financial, leading a department of over 50 Quality Engineers, including an offshore team in Brazil. Shail has also contributed expertise in software quality and user experience at Biomatrica since November 2008, while holding leadership roles as Vice-President of the Indian Biathlon Association and International Commissioner for the Indian Ice-Hockey Association since August 2008. Previously, Shail held senior positions at Intuit, managing quality engineering for TurboTax, and served as a Senior QA Engineer at iPrint. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Geomathematics from Stanford University and a Master's in Computer Science from Mills College.
