Lily Parshall Wachter, CFA Ph.D. has a wealth of experience in finance and sustainability. In 2021, they began their current role as Chief Financial Officer at Biomason. From 2020 to 2021, they held the same role at Fresno Chaffee Zoo. From 2012 to 2020, they were Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance and Strategy, and Manager of Strategy and Finance/Financial Planning Analyst at Edeniq, Inc., a venture-backed biotechnology company. From 2010 to 2012, they were an Equity Research Associate, Clean Energy at Goldman Sachs. From 2004 to 2010, they pursued a Ph.D. in Sustainable Development at Columbia University. From 2003 to 2004, they were a Project Manager at Columbia University's Center for Climate Systems Research at NASA GISS. From 2001 to 2003, they were a Teacher of Outdoor Education and Environmental Science at the American Community School at Beirut. In 2001, they were an Environmental Assistant at ICLEI. Finally, from 1999 to 2001, they were a Research Assistant at the Rainforest Alliance.
Lily Parshall Wachter, CFA Ph.D. began their educational journey in 1993 when they attended St. Paul's School. Lily then attended Columbia University from 1997 to 2001 where they earned a B.A. in Environmental Science with a minor in Mathematics. Lily returned to Columbia University in 2004 to pursue a Ph.D. in Sustainable Development, which they completed in 2010. Lily also attended Nightingale-Bamford prior to their studies at Columbia University. In 2015, Lily obtained their Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder from the CFA Institute.
