Olga Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business intelligence and data management. Currently serving as the Director of Global Commercial Business Intelligence at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. since June 2017, Olga oversees database architecture and the integration of a Global Commercial Data Warehouse while successfully leading the implementation of interactive PowerBI dashboards. Prior roles include Associate Director of Global Commercial Business Intelligence at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. and Senior Manager of Business Intelligence at BioMarin, where Olga contributed to the development of various CRM and marketing automation tools. Beginning in 2000 as a Data Warehouse Analyst/DBA at Legacy Marketing Group, Olga has consistently advanced in expertise, including significant accomplishments as a BI Architect at Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates and a BI Engineer at Advent Software. Olga holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management Information Systems and Services from the University of San Francisco.
