Justin Ichida is a seasoned professional in the field of neuroscience research, currently serving as Vice President and Head of Neuroscience Research at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. since May 2022. In addition to this role, Ichida is a Co-Founder of Modulo Bio and AcuraStem, both established in May 2021 and January 2017, respectively. Academia is also a significant part of Ichida's career, with a position as an Associate Professor at the University of Southern California since 2013, where Justin also holds the title of Richard N. Merkin Assistant Professor. Previous academic experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University from 2007 to 2012 and a Ph.D. candidacy at Harvard Medical School from 2000 to 2006. Ichida completed a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of California, Los Angeles, between 1996 and 2000.
