Jonathan Day MBBS PhD is currently the Group Vice President Late Stage Clinical Development at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. Previously, Jonathan held roles such as Vice President Global Medical Acute Cardiovascular Care at The Medicines Company and Medical Director UK and Ireland at AstraZeneca. Jonathan has a background in Cardiothoracic Surgery and holds various degrees including a PhD in Thrombin Inhibition from Imperial College London. Additionally, Jonathan is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and has diplomas in Pharmaceutical Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians.
