Andy Seid is a seasoned professional in the life sciences and investment banking sectors with extensive experience. Currently serving as a Partner at Bioluminescence Ventures since December 2023, Andy has previously held significant roles, including Director and Vice President in Biopharma Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from August 2019 to March 2023. Prior to this, Andy worked as a Biopharma Consultant at SeidInk LLC and held leadership positions at Sangamo Therapeutics, Inc. and Leerink Partners LLC. Andy's early career includes roles at Genentech, UBS, BNP Paribas, and Credit Suisse, specializing in healthcare investment banking and equity sales. Educationally, Andy holds dual B.A. degrees in Molecular & Cell Biology and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
