Verna Velasquez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and management across various industries, including healthcare and travel. Currently serving as Plasma Center Manager at BioLife Plasma Services since January 2023, Verna oversees a plasma collection facility in Roanoke, Virginia, managing multiple operational functions. Verna has also held a senior operations manager role supporting two plasma centers in California and Arizona. Additionally, as Co-Owner of Cruise Planners Travel Agency since February 2016, Verna provides full-service travel solutions and specializes in destination weddings. Prior experience includes roles in human resources and communications at Takeda, leasing coordination at Westfield, and significant leadership positions at Anthem Blue Cross and Odyssey Healthcare.
