Brian Williams has had a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Brian began their career at Bose Corporation in 2002, where they designed and developed embedded applications and device drivers for audio/video products. Brian also took on leadership roles, such as acting project manager for a 10-person team exploring new digital radio solutions. In 2010, Brian joined OutSmart Power Systems as a Senior Software Engineer, where they created a one-man department and developed C++ applications for embedded Linux. Brian was responsible for designing and developing systems with multiple communication protocols and collecting energy data from power circuits. In 2012, Brian became the Head of Instrument Software at Bio-Rad Laboratories, where they led a team in developing ISO certified production software for a DNA sequencing platform. Brian grew the department to a 20-person team. In 2018, Brian joined Humatics as a Senior Director, where they built a software platform and managed various software teams to deliver a data and monitoring platform for AGVs, Robots, and Forklifts. Finally, in 2019, Brian joined BioLabs as the VP of Software and Technology, overseeing the software and technology initiatives of the company.
Brian Williams attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 1996 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.
