Michael Trader is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in firmware and software development across multiple industries, including healthcare and automotive. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at BioIntelliSense, Inc. since October 2022, Michael also contributes as an Industry Advisor Council Member for the Computer Engineering program at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Previously, a significant tenure at Rockwell Automation involved roles such as Firmware Architect and Team Leader, focusing on firmware architecture and customer applications for variable frequency drives. Additional roles include Firmware Engineer at GE Healthcare, Software/Systems Engineering Manager at Compact Power, Inc., and various positions at General Motors Powertrain. Michael holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering with a focus on Embedded Systems from Oakland University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
