Dominic Walsh is an accomplished researcher in the field of Alzheimer's disease and dementia. Currently serving as the Vice President of the Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Research Unit at Biogen since September 2018, Dominic Walsh leads early-stage research through to Phase 2 clinical development. Additionally, Dominic Walsh holds the position of Associate Professor at Brigham and Women's Hospital since October 2011 and previously held the same title at University College Dublin from August 2003 to September 2011. Early in the career, Dominic Walsh served as an Instructor at Brigham and Women's Hospital from 1995 to 2003. Dominic Walsh earned a BSc in Biochemistry and a PhD in Veterinary Science from Queen's University Belfast between 1982 and 1991.
