Lynne Cox is an accomplished researcher and academic specializing in the biology of ageing. Currently serving as Program Director of Dynamic Resilience at Wellcome Leap and Co Director of the UK Ageing Networks, Lynne Cox plays a pivotal role in advancing research that addresses health inequalities and improves the health span of older adults. Additionally, Lynne Cox acts as Co-Chair of the Ageing Biology special interest group within the European Union Geriatric Medicine Society, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among researchers across Europe. As an Associate Professor and Principal Investigator at the University of Oxford, Lynne Cox leads research in ageing and cell senescence, while also contributing to various organizations focused on longevity and the biological mechanisms of ageing. Educationally, Lynne Cox holds a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Cambridge, where foundational research in chromosome replication was conducted.
