Erik Vanderhaegen has extensive work experience in various leadership and financial roles. Erik started their career in 1987 at Arthur Andersen Brussels, where they worked as a manager until 1996. From 1997 to 2000, Erik worked at Bekaert N.V., where they were responsible for mergers and acquisitions, tax, and internal audit management. Erik then joined Univeg in 2007, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and special projects until 2010. In 2001, Erik became the CFO at JENSEN-GROUP, where they played a crucial role in the company's turnaround and solving shareholder structure. At NIBC Bank, Erik held multiple roles, including Country Managing Director from 2011 to 2018, where they provided advice, financing, and investing in the Benelux and Germany.
