Masroor Qadri, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research. Masroor currently serves as the Scientific Lead at Bio-Techne since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Advanced Cell Diagnostics as a Scientist from 2021 to 2022, where they managed and executed multiple projects using cutting-edge technology and collaborated with teams to achieve scientific objectives.
From 2017 to 2021, Masroor Qadri worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the University of Florida. During this time, they designed and executed experiments to study the role of microbiome in host response to toxicants and performed single-cell transcriptomic analysis.
Before that, they served as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at Universidade de BrasÃlia from 2015 to 2016, where they performed experiments to elucidate the AI-2 signaling pathway.
Starting their research career, Masroor Qadri worked as a Graduate Research Fellow at CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM) from 2010 to 2015. There, they characterized endophytic fungi and bacteria, cloned biosynthetic pathway genes, and developed protocols for manipulation of endophytic fungi.
Masroor Qadri, Ph.D. obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology from Jamia Hamdard, from 2010 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Biotechnology from H.N.B Gharwal University, from 2006 to 2008. Masroor started their academic journey with a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Bangalore University, which they achieved from 2003 to 2006.
