Shariq Zia Khan has extensive work experience in the software and technology industry. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Research Analyst at Tech Tycoons until 2004. From 2004 to 2006, they served as a Software Engineer at Geo Tv Network. Following that, they joined Avanza Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, they became a Programmer Analyst at Macrosoft Inc. until 2009. Starting in 2009, they joined EWS and held positions as a Software Analyst from 2009 to 2012 and as a Tech Lead from 2012 to 2015. Currently, Shariq works at BioReference Laboratories as a Software Development Manager since 2015. Additionally, they hold the role of Director of Software Engineering from November 2022 at the said company.

Shariq Zia Khan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences in 2002. Shariq Zia later pursued a Master's degree in Finance and Economics at Karachi University from 2004 to 2006.
