Matthijs Schonewille is a Senior Associate at BINGH Advocaten since October 2019, specializing in intellectual property law. Prior experience includes an Associate role at Simmons & Simmons in Amsterdam from August 2018 to August 2019 and an Associate position at DLA Piper from June 2014 to July 2018, where focus was on Intellectual Property and Technology. Matthijs also gained experience through internships at the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Brinkhof N.V., and Mercis. Matthijs holds an LL.M. from Temple University and Leiden University, as well as a Bachelor of Laws from Utrecht University. Additional legal training includes completion of the Beroepsopleiding Advocaten and Law Firm School between 2014 and 2017.
