Haleigh Zapata is a Learning and Literacy Specialist with extensive experience in program and curriculum expertise. Currently employed at Biloxi Public Schools since August 2017, Haleigh has developed and implemented unit scopes and individualized lesson plans tailored to diverse student needs, including those with IEPs, 504s, and bilingual learners. Prior to this role, Haleigh worked at Charter Schools USA from September 2014 to May 2017, where responsibilities included crafting lesson plans for 5th-grade students and providing personalized coaching for varied learning types. Haleigh holds two Bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education and Teaching from The University of Southern Mississippi, obtained between August 2012 and May 2014.
