Janaka Weerarathna holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from Cardiff Metropolitan University and has extensive experience in full stack development and technical leadership. Currently serving as a Lead Full Stack Engineer at both Billy Grace and Gapstars since February 2024, Janaka previously held roles such as Technical Lead at zMessenger (Pvt) Ltd and Associate Technical Lead-AI at Epic Lanka. Significant contributions include the development of a Medical Guidance System utilizing AI-based technologies and leading software engineering projects focused on various technologies such as NodeJs, ReactJS, and Python. Janaka's career began in software engineering roles, with prior positions at Cenmetrix, Flexiv Micro Systems (Pvt) Limited, and Bartleet Innovative Technologies.
