Dan Arthur has a work experience that includes roles in both the private and public sector. Dan started their career in 2019 with the NSW Government Graduate Program, where they had three 6-month rotations in diverse government roles. Dan worked in both data engineering and data insights spaces with Transport for NSW and the Department of Education. In November 2020, they joined Billigence as a Business Intelligence Consultant and then progressed to the role of Senior Business Intelligence Consultant in March 2022. Currently, Dan holds the position of Cloud Data Practice Lead at Billigence, a role they started in January 2023.

Dan Arthur attended Macquarie University from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Information Technology degree with a focus on Information Systems & Business Analysis. Dan later pursued further education at the University of New England (AU) from 2019 to 2020, earning a Diploma in Government. In addition to their academic achievements, Dan has obtained various certifications such as Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) from Scrum.org in February 2023, Hands On Essentials - Data Sharing and Hands On Essentials - Data Warehouse from Snowflake in April 2022 and March 2022 respectively, SnowPro Core Certification from Snowflake in June 2023, Alteryx Designer Advanced Certified from Alteryx in February 2022, Alteryx Designer Core Certified from Alteryx in December 2020, and Tableau Desktop Certified Associate from Tableau Software in November 2020.
