Cecile Vernochet has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Cecile started their career as a phD candidate at CNRS in 1999 and continued in this role until 2020. During this time, they also worked as a Biology Scientist at BUMC from 2004 to 2009. In 2010, they joined the Joslin Diabetes Center-Harvard Affiliated as a Research Fellow and remained in this position until 2013. From 2013 to 2020, Cecile worked at Pfizer, where they held various roles including Principal Scientist and Senior Principal Scientist. In these roles, they led multiple drug discovery programs and research efforts for metabolic diseases and NAFLD/NASH indication. Cecile also managed in vitro and in vivo biology teams and collaborated with academia for novel target identification strategies. In 2020, they joined the Bill & Melinda Gates Medical Research Institute as a Discovery Project Lead where they currently work.
From 1993 to 2004, Cecile Vernochet attended Université Côte d'Azur, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
