Jose Rivas Acevedo began their career in 1992 as an Arquitecto de sistemas de software at BIGWISE. In this role, they were responsible for developing software systems. JOSE was later promoted to Principal Chief Executive Officer. In this role, they were responsible for leading the company. In the present, they are the CEO of BIGWISE CORP.

Jose Rivas Acevedo attended ETI from 1977 to 1981, studying Química, and UNA from 1981 to 1987, studying Ingeniería de Sistemas.
