Christi Mackey has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Christi started their career as a Junior Product Manager at medi USA in 2013. After that, they worked as a Juicerista at Clean Juice from 2018 to 2020. In 2019, they had multiple roles including being a Social Media Manager at Cliq Media Corp., a Social Media Manager at Radiance Yoga Studio and Boutique, and a Children's Yoga Instructor at Growga. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Social Media Manager at Ripl Marketing. In 2021, they joined Go Greensboro as a Sales and Marketing Specialist and is expected to work until December 2022. Prior to their current position, they were the Social Media Manager and Trainer at 9Round Fitness starting in November 2017. Christi also has experience as a Social Media Influencer at TotallyChristi and as a Director of Marketing at Actioncoach.

Christi Mackey holds a Master of Counseling degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling/Counselor from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, which they completed from 2008 to 2012. Prior to their master's degree, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 2004 to 2006. Christi began their education at Mitchell Community College from 2002 to 2004, where they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree.
