Jayson Cheng has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jayson started their career as a Management Intern at KPMG in 2007, where they gained experience in the development of FactorPro, a Factoring/Account Receivable Financing System. Jayson later transitioned to the role of Associate at KPMG, where they implemented servlet pages and resolved issues based on functional specifications.

In 2012, Jayson completed an internship as a Full Stack Engineer at Ensuant Inc., where they were involved in the design and development of a full-stack Maritime web application.

Jayson then served as a Full Stack Engineer Intern at Sense Infosys Pte. Ltd. in 2013, where they contributed to the design, development, and user testing phases of a Maritime web application. Jayson was responsible for tasks such as UI/UX design, rapid prototyping, and integration.

In 2014, Jayson worked as an Application Developer (Temp) at E@SIS Pte. Ltd., and concurrently served as a Teaching Assistant for the Data Structure & Algorithm Course at the National University of Singapore. In the latter role, they assisted in the preparation of teaching materials, quizzes, practice questions, and conducted lab sessions.

From 2014 to 2018, Jayson worked as an R&D Engineer at WORKS APPLICATIONS, where they contributed to research and development projects.

In 2018, Jayson joined Broctagon Fintech Group as a Lead Full Stack Developer (Blockchain). In this role, they initially focused on developing smart contracts and later transitioned to consultancy solutions for private blockchains. Jayson became accountable for all technical deliverables in the Blockchain department, including design, development, deployment, and audit.

Currently, Jayson holds the position of Software Engineer at BigPay | Challenge Banking, starting in April 2020.

Jayson Cheng completed their Bachelor of Computing degree with a major in E-Commerce from the National University of Singapore between 2010 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a diploma (with Merit) in Information Technology, with a specialization in Software Engineering, from Ngee Ann Polytechnic from 2005 to 2008. In terms of additional certifications, Jayson Cheng received multiple Coursera Verified Certificates in various Data Science courses between 2013 and 2015. In May 2020, they also obtained a certificate in "Architecting with Google Kubernetes Engine" from Coursera Course Certificates.
